Designed in 1970 by renowned golf course architect E. Lawrence Packard, Turnberry Golf Club opened in 1972 and has been considered an area gem ever since. As host to many USGA, CDGA and PGA events, the championship course is a draw for both the avid and novice player, boasting not only picturesque scenery on its 166 acres, but a fully outfitted clubhouse, pro shop, restaurant and accommodations for weddings, meetings and special events. Turnberry also features junior golf programs, ladies golf, and available lessons.
